Since 2014, changes to regulations governing the declaration of allergens in food service has been enforced. The changes were introduced to ensure that all consumers are given comprehensive ingredient listing information and make it easier for people with food allergies to identify ingredients they need to avoid.
The FreeFrom Eating Out Awards encourages innovation and celebrates excellence in the freedom food service industry, acknowledging and rewarding ‘freefrom’ in restaurants, cafés, pubs, take-aways, canteens, schools, hospitals and anywhere outside the home that you might wish to eat freefrom food.
With extensive experience in this field, Halima Ferreira is delighted to be currently working as a judge for this independent and well renowned organisation.
