PLANT BASED DIETS
Whole Food, Plant Focused and Vegcentric
What is plant based nutrition?
A plant based diet is one consisting mostly, or entirely, of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruit, and with few or no animal products. Alongside the emphasis is on plant based ingredients, modest amounts of fish, lean meat and low fat diary can be consumed with red meat only sparingly. Strive to consume minimally processed foods wherever possible.
What are the benefits of a plant based diet?
A plant based diet celebrates plant food and cuts out the unhealthy items. These include things like added sugars and refined grains. For some time now, plant based diets have been linked to a number of health benefits including reducing your risk of heart attack, diabetes, stroke, certain cancers, obesity and cognitive decline.
Of course, plant based diets are not only excellent for you in terms of your heart, weight and overall health but also good for the environment too.

Dealing with my own health struggles was the impetus for me to make a huge career change and dive into the world of plant based food and nutrition.
I strongly believe that food can truly heal us. On my journey, I've experienced first hand the impact that food plays on our health. I suffered with unstable blood sugar levels, irritable moods, terrible digestion, impaired gut health and the worst PMS cramps and bloating.
One thing is for certain, the food choices we make have a significant impact on our health and well being. As Lisa Kilgour proclaimed, 'Any emotion around food isn't about the food. It's your blood sugar'.
Today I am healing from auto-immune ulcerative colitis and I'm excited to share the tools from my personal toolkit with you to help you heal.
Working as a private chef for UHNWI around the globe, I've cooked for some of the world’s rich list. I’ve also created spa menus for detox and optimal health. I've chosen to add plant based nutrition for personal reasons and to help the clients I work with.
