A plant based diet consists mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruit, with few or no animal products.

Alongside the emphasis on plant based ingredients, small amounts of fish, lean meat and low fat dairy can be eaten with red meat only sparingly. Try, where you can, to only eat minimally processed foods.

INITIAL SESSION

I conduct a comprehensive assessment. Here we’ll explore eating patterns, health habits, lifestyle choices, and more. Next, we'll talk about your goals and develop clear steps for you to reach them.

STEP 3

ONGOING SUPPORT

Healthy habits and dramatic results don't happen overnight. We'll meet every 2-3 weeks for ongoing support and accountability as you make positive nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Dealing with my own health struggles was the impetus for me to make a huge career change and dive into the world of plant based food and nutrition. I strongly believe food can truly heal us. On my journey, I've experienced first-hand the impact food plays on our health. I suffered with unstable blood sugar levels, irritable moods, terrible digestion, impaired gut health and the worst PMS cramps and bloating.

One thing is for certain; our food choices have a significant impact on our health and well- being. As Lisa Kilgour proclaimed, 'Any emotion around food isn't about the food. It's your blood sugar'.
